On January 21, KAAGNY completed the third wave of food relief distribution as part of the COVID-19 Share the Love Food Relief Campaign.

Over a three day period at sites set up in Queens, Palisades Park, and Manhattan, KAAGNY successfully distributed food relief vouchers to a total of 1,640 families and households.

The Share the Love Campaign provides families experiencing food insecurity with monthly food relief vouchers over a five month period, which can be redeemed at participating supermarkets. As of January 2021, the Campaign has raised over $1.2 million. KAAGNY has opened a separate account for the Campaign, and 100 percent of the funds raised has gone directly to providing food relief to families in need.
