On the final day of the 2020 Korea Week event, KAAGNY hosted a K-Trot Competition where eight contestants competed for a first place prize of $1,000.

Streaming live from KAAGNY headquarters, the K-Trot Competition featured a range of talents as young as elementary school.

The first place winner, Woo Chul Jang of Auburndale, Queens, performed “A Drink of Makgeolli” and won $1,000. The second place winner, Daniel Kim, received $500 for his rendition of “Sorrow.” Sharon Park, who performed “Lies,” placed third and won $300. Shi On Jang and Sarah Hong received Popularity Awards for their charming performances and received $200.
