KISS USA Donates $500,000 to KAAGNY & Community Service Organizations

On December 15, beauty supply company KISS USA donated $500,000 to KAAGNY.

Represented by CEO John Chang, KISS USA visited KAAGNY headquarters to deliver the donation which will be re-distributed to Korean American community service organizations.

“I am making this donation to ease the burden and difficulties that the Korean American community is experiencing during the COVID-19 pandemic,” Mr. Chang said. “Our community is facing an array of trials and challenges during these times, but through this donation I hope to assist others and convey a message of positivity and hope.”

$400,000 was delivered to the MinKwon Center for Community Action, and $100,000 was given to Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York (KCS). JuBum Cha, a senior consultant at MinKwon, stated that the Center will use the funds to provide assistance to the most vulnerable members of the community. Representing KCS, Vice President Myoungmi Kim said that the funding will go towards providing mental health services.
