As the end of the 2020 Census approaches, KAAGNY and other non-profit organizations have continued their efforts for a complete count of the Korean American community in the Census.
On September 26, KAAGNY was joined by KCS, KACE, KAFSC, the Census Bureau of New York City, and other community organizations to encourage as many Korean Americans to participate in the Census. The organizations set up a promotion booth outside of Union H-Mart in Flushing, Queens. The groups were joined by State Assemblyman Ron Kim, and were able to successfully include over 40 households in the Census.
