KAAGNY Announces the Share the Love Food Relief Campaign

On September 24, KAAGNY held a press conference to announce the launching of the COVID-19 ‘Share the Love’ Food Relief Campaign.

Through the generous contributions of various Korean American community organizations and donors, the ‘Share the Love’ Campaign will provide food relief vouchers to Korean American families who have not been able to receive financial assistance from local and federal governments.

The YT Hwang Family Foundation pledged $100,000 to the campaign, and two anonymous Korean American donors have also pledged $100,000. The fundraising period will begin on September 25 and will run until the end of 2020.

The ‘Share the Love’ Campaign will provide $100 a month for families of up to 2 persons, and $200 a month for families greater than 2 people. The food relief vouchers will be distributed once a month for a period of five months.
