KAAGNY, 100Suits, and Leaders in SE Queens to Hold Solidarity Rally to Denounce Anti-Asian Hate Crimes
On Thursday, March 25, KAAGNY, Kevin Livingston (Founder of 100 Suits for 100 Men), and leaders in Southeast Queens are holding a solidarity event to denounce Anti-Asian hate crimes. The Asian and Black communities have a longstanding relationship that encompasses an ongoing discourse on bridging cultural divides under a banner of anti-racism.
“Enough is enough and I stand in solidarity with the Asian community. We must continue to combat hate because there is not room for it in NYC, especially not in Jamaica, Queens.” - Kevin Livingston, President of 100 Suits
"We are grateful to join with 100 Suits, elected officials and community leaders to denounce the rising hate incidents directed at the Asian American community. It is all the more meaningful that the rally and press conference are being held at the Feel Beauty location where, less than a year ago, 100 Suits and KAAGNY helped forge a closer relationship between the Asian American business and local community. Anti-racism is a goal that can only be achieved with the support of all communities that call this country home. We invite all communities to join us in solidarity as we fight to #StopAsianHate." - Charles Yoon, President of KAAGNY
