One of the unfortunate results of the COVID-19 pandemic has been the economic impact on society’s most vulnerable members.

Consul General of the Republic of Korea, Won Sam Chang, and other members of the Consulate gathered funds to purchase bags of rice and donated them to KAAGNY for distribution. KAAGNY donated a portion to the Korean Community Services of Metropolitan New York (KCS) and, in coordination with KCS, donated to six other organizations that are feeding the hungry. CJ Foods donated packages of dumplings to KCS for the same purpose.
