To provide some relief toward the shortage of personal protection equipment at local hospitals and clinics, KAAGNY distributed much-needed medical masks to KAMPANY and the Korean Nurses Association. KAAGNY also donated masks to the Korean American Officers Association and other Korean American social service organizations.
KAAGNY's contributions came from donations generously made by Siete LLC (2,000 masks) and Jinro Hite America (10,000 masks). KAAGNY is anticipating a further significant donation of virus-resistant coveralls from another donor, and has received a cash grant from the YT Hwang Foundation to provide PPE funding to New York City hospitals.
